Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister: 'Back in time'

First, let's just point out that I loved this clever #book! It's unique concept of solving a murder in reverse was quite unlike anything I’ve read before.

The story had me from the first page, written in my favorite genre of mystery/thriller with a character driven story. Connecting with the lead, Jen, and her self-doubts, guilt and love for her son was a smooth process, making it easy to cheer her on.

The writing pattern itself was what made this book so fantastic! Can you imagine just how difficult it would have been to write a story that goes back in time with every chapter without it becoming confusing? The author handles this wonderfully, writing it so that the reader can keep up with what date Jen is currently reliving smoothly. I throughly enjoyed the science explanation for time travel which made the whole story seem completely plausible and keeping you attached to the world.

I didn’t predict where the story was going as it maneuvered its twists and turns, with a few brilliantly crafted jaw-drop moments. As with any great #mystery, the ending came together in a satisfying way with all loose ends tied up. This is one of the best #thriller I have read in a long time with a fresh concept, executed brilliantly.
